Dolomite Joins Binance HODLer Airdrops
Binance confirmed Dolomite (DOLO) as the 33rd project in the HODLer Airdrops program. The initiative rewards BNB holders based on historical snapshots of their balances, granting tokens without requiring additional actions.
For this round, users who subscribed BNB to Simple Earn (Flexible or Locked) or On-Chain Yields between August 3–6, 2025 (UTC) qualified for distribution. A total of 15 million DOLO tokens, representing 1.5% of the max supply, were airdropped. Rewards were delivered directly to Spot Accounts at least one hour before trading began.
Binance also announced that an additional 10 million DOLO will be distributed six months later, with details to be published in a separate update.
Spot Trading and Market Integration
Trading for Dolomite went live on August 27, 2025, at 16:00 UTC. DOLO is paired against USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY, providing diverse entry points for global traders. Deposits opened earlier that day at 12:30 UTC, while withdrawals will follow shortly after the listing.
Binance applied its Seed Tag to DOLO, marking it as a project with higher volatility and risk but strong innovation potential. This designation helps users identify early-stage tokens while applying Binance’s monitoring framework.
Before the official listing, DOLO was temporarily available on Binance Alpha Market, a pre-listing platform. However, Alpha trading volumes no longer count toward Alpha Points once spot trading begins.

Understanding Binance HODLer Airdrops
HODLer Airdrops is one of the unique features of Binance. It gives an incentive to long term holders of BNB because it implements a distribution of new tokens of a project retroactively, depending on a snapshot of holdings.
Participants are all automatic participants as they have subscribed to BNB Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields products. These users are also entitled to Binance Launchpool and Megadrop rewards, which further incentivize holding on to BNB in the long-term.
To make this fair, snapshots of user balances are made at random moments of every hour. In DOLO, snapshot entries that occurred on August 3 through 6, 2025 set the rewards. Tokens were given to eligible users within 24 hours after announcement of listing.
Why Dolomite Matters for DeFi
Binance does not simply introduce the token to launch, but it is also a step towards adding decentralized money markets to the wider DeFi environment of the platform. Dolomite is a protocol that allows lending, borrowing, and on-chain trading- allowing it to play an important role in the development of capital-efficient markets.
The chain-agnostic support of Dolomite through Ethereum and Arbitrum increases the available user base and guarantees cross-chain functionality. Through featuring in the Binance HODLer Airdrops, Dolomite receives instant liquidity, validation and reception to one of the largest retail crypto bases on the planet.
Like with any HODLer AirDrop, users had to go through KYC (known-your-customer) verification and be in one of a list of supported jurisdictions. The residents of such regions as the U.S., U.K., Canada, Japan, Australia, Russia, and Hong Kong, are still not able to take part in it because of the restrictions imposed by U.S. regulators.
